Director’s Message

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the Center for Pedagogical Training and Academic Development. Our center is founded on the belief that excellence in higher education is not only defined by subject expertise but also by the ability to inspire, engage, and empower students. As educators, we must continuously evolve to meet the demands of a rapidly changing academic landscape—one that requires innovative teaching strategies, interdisciplinary approaches, and a commitment to lifelong learning. Through our training courses, we emphasize competence-based education, the integration of  ICT in pedagogy, and the cultivation of edupreneurial mindsets, ensuring that educators are not only knowledgeable but also creative, forward-thinking, and impactful.

Our mission extends beyond classroom instruction; we aim to foster a culture of critical inquiry, innovative research, and pedagogical innovation that transforms teaching into an intellectually enriching and socially responsible endeavour. By empowering university instructors with innovative teaching methodologies and research skills, we enable them to contribute meaningfully to both academia and society. A Brief Background

Our training course emphasises modern pedagogical culture, including student- centered learning, innovative teaching methods, competence-based education, digital literacy, edupreneurship, university work environment and various reflective teaching and assessment practices, aligning with international standards such as the Bologna Process. Through comprehensive training, we strive to cultivate innovative, effective, reflective and ethical educators who are well-prepared to address the dynamic needs of academia, as well as local and global workforces.
